Santa Rosa de Copán
This coffee has a complex profile. The natural process the beans undertake provides this coffee with a rich of blueberries and plum. The mouth feeling is defined by its round and full body and taste notes of dry fruit, cocoa and bergamot. The acidity of this coffee is similar to that of plums and red fruits and the aftertaste is sweet and persistent Cupping score: 86.25 points.
It is located in the Northwestern part of Honduras, near the border with Guatemala. Specifically, “Finca la Antena” is located at 1,700 meters above sea level and the coffee is usually naturally processed. Together with the “Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limitada (COCAFCAL)” they promote the sustainable development of the local economy in the southern region of Copán, Honduras. They help to develop financial, technical, productive and marketing services within the cooperatives. It is a shared effort in order to reduce poverty and increase the quality of life in rural communities in western Honduras.
